About
When you’re looking for a fresh approach to decorating or renovating, Marcelle Guilbeau can help you create a home that expresses your own “cool” and supports your lifestyle. Call or email her for a free initial design consultation.
One of Nashville’s most versatile interior designers, Marcelle provides relaxed and natural home interiors for marketing executives, health care specialists, artists and songwriters, professors, attorneys and other elite clients.
Marcelle has fifteen years experience providing complete interior design services for new and established homes in Williamson County, Nashville, and other communities.
“I lean toward natural materials – woods, stones, linens, wools - and natural color palettes in my designs,” says Marcelle. “I always try to work in a little sunshine, foliage, flowers, sky and water in the homes of my clients.”
She offers a full range of interior design services, ranging from kitchen and master bath planning and design, to selection and design of furniture, fabrics, built-in furniture, custom window treatments and bedding.
Marcelle often collaborates with her architect husband, David Baird, the lead designer for the Country Music Hall of Fame and the winner of several international and national awards for architecture and product design. The first sustainable home designed by Marcelle and David is featured in the book Shades of Green, Tennessee.
Earlier in her career, Marcelle worked for one of the world’s leading architecture firms. She was part of an award-winning team, whose spa-like heathcare design was published nationwide.
Marcelle received an interior design degree from Watkins College of Art, Design and Film. She has accreditation through NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Designers Qualification) and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
