Once again, the Artist’s Modern Bungalow, home to my innovative artist client, Jodi Hays, is lighting up the blogosphere … this time in an apartment therapy feature, “10 Lovely Homes that Display their Children’s Artwork Proudly”.
In this modern take on a historic East Nashville home, Jodi’s childrens’ artwork is displayed against a bold Sherwin Williams Web Gray with Extra White trim above a gorgeous paneled fireplace mantel designed by architect David Baird.
The mantelpiece is a great place to spotlight your child’s most recent work of art and keep your refrigerator door clutter free. Pick up a suitably sized piece of gator foam board at your local art supply store and some cute thumbtacks and you have an instant mobile gallery space.
